I went to the florist yesterday morning as soon as I read about Adele and had a beautiful bouquet put together..Went to her home and noone was there to deliver it. She welcomed me when we arrived in La Jolla 44 years ago and we so enjoyed each other attending meetings together...As our children grew up we didn't see each other as often, but I thought she was one of the loveliest women I had ever met and so friendly and kind, a wonderful friend...Much Love to her Family...Mary Appleby

I was on the staff of St. James as Director of Religious Education many years ago and I will always remember what a wonderful support Adele was with the Christian Education program. The church certainly benefited by her presence.
