BLICK, Adeline Wright, 99, of Lawrenceville, Va., passed away April 5, 2009. She was a retired registered nurse for Community Memorial Healthcenter for 40 years. She is preceded in death by her husband, Vernon H. Blick Jr. She is survived by her son, Vernon H. Blick III and wife, Cindy; her granddaughter, Constance Lucy Blick; and niece, Martha Blick. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday at Williams Funeral Home, Lawrenceville, with interment in Oakwood Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends 1 p.m. Wednesday, an hour prior to service, at Williams Funeral Home.

Hardy, my deepest sympathies to you and your family in the loss of your mother. Your mother is the first nurse I remember and she was a very good one. I have been blessed to be married to a great nurse for the past 41 years. Judith will retire in June. Hope we will see you and Cindy at our next reunion.
