Aden Pfeiffer Obituary
1935 - 2011
Aden Edward Pfeiffer (Bud), age 75, of Pensacola, Florida passed away Sunday, November 06, 2011 from a long battle with COPD. Mr. Pfeiffer was born in Pensacola, Florida on December 09, 1935. He was a local musician.
Aden peacefully joined his parents, Ernest Frederick and Virginia Lee Pfeiffer and his older brother, Freddy Pfeiffer.
He leaves behind his five daughters, Karen Shipman, Brenda Case, Carol Pearson, Connie Sponheimer and Cathy Ikner; his ten grandchildren, David Shipman, Lauren Shipman, Lisa Shipman, Kevin Case, Brandon Pearson, Katelyn Ikner, Allison Sponheimer, Meagan Pearson, Kyle Ikner and Sean Sponheimer; one sister, Virginia Werhan; and his longtime friend, Agnus Stafford.
Aden graduated with the PHS Class of 1954 and received a music scholarship to Mississippi Southern College. He was an excellent trombone player and his most memorable music career was playing in Freddy Pfeiffer's band, the Debonairs, at Sanders Beach. He played in many other bands and locations in the local community.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 9th from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with his funeral at 11:00 am at Bayview Memorial Park.
We would like to thank Covenant Hospice for his comfortable and peaceful transition to eternal life in Heaven. We would also like to thank the wonderful nurses, doctors and aides at the life Care Center of Pensacola for their dedicated and patient assistance in his last three years of life as well as a special thanks to his brother-in-Christ, Jeff Fox, who helped him become a better, spiritual person.

My thoughts and prayers are with Adens' family. I had a nice visit with him, when he was in Life Care of Pensacola. We talked about our fun times in the PHS Band, and our "special Class of '54". He will be greatly missed.

Aden was one of my PHS classmates that always managed to make me smile. Remembering him brings back many happy memories. I know that he has joined his brother and our classmate, drummer Bill Womack, and the three of them have formed a wonderful trio in heaven.
