Not sure what to say?

Our family was very saddened to learn of Adla's passing, but we know her pain and suffering is over and she's in a far better place. How brave she was! Our deepest sympathies to her nephews, whom she always spoke so fondly of. We only had the privilege of knowing Adla for a few years. She was the epitome of kindness and we value the time we spent with her.

With sympathy, the Hile Family

Adla was my aunt. She married my uncle Abraham Abdallah (my father's brother) who brought her to this country. When I met her, she knew almost no English, and I knew no Arabic whatsoever, but despite our language barrier, she was always kind to me, and it is that memory that sticks with me.

Adla, I hope your spirit is enjoying its new found freedom!

Love,
