Not sure what to say?

Its hard to imagine that my good friend has been gone for three years. Right now he would be thinking about signing another ten year contract with South Park Mall, that's the way he was! I still remember the time that Fito, Carlos and I were in my store talking and someone mentioned the fact that between the three of us we had over 150 years of shoe experience we all thought it was funny. I still miss the great conversations we had, so many great memories. Rest in peace Fito.

Sunday will be two years since we lost fito who was one of the best friends I ever had. It's also the day that I lost my wonderful wife Joan. Since we were all in shoe business I wonder if Fito and Joan have gotten tired of talking about shoes. Probably not. Rest in peace Fito, until we meet again, in the meantime don't try to talk St. Peter into wearing Stacy Adam shoes!
Emma and Melissa, know that you are in our thoughts and prayers and my good friend will never be forgotten.

The Mass was beautiful! Neighborhood friend from Laredo, the Arevalo Family sends our prayers and condolences to Fitos Family! God Bless You

Our deepest sympathy to Emma and family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. May God give you strength and peace during this difficult time. Rest In Peace Fito.

a great friend and one of the nice man he was always. may you rest in heaven GOD BLESS YOU FITO

Fito, my good friend. I will miss our conversations because you were always someone that I could talk to. I will miss the times we would meet in Church on Sunday, going to breakfast afterwards with Emma and Joan. This are times that I will cherich. Rest in peace my very good friend, we will miss you. Emma, my deepest sympathy to you and your family and know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Farewell to a dear classmate of the Laredo MHS Class of '56. Saw him and his wife 50 years later at a friend's anniversary party in our hometown. After all these years, Fito still owned that handsomeness and magnetic charm. My sincere condolences to Emma and her family on this sad day. May the peace that comes from memories of love shared comfort you now and in the days ahead.

My name is Olivia Gutierrez Cavazos. Fito was a close friend of ours and of my brother, Jr Gutierrez. He was indeed a very loving and wonderful person, who I was lucky enough to know.
I want to express my deepest sympathy to his wife and family. I know Fito is in good company in Heavenwith our Lord, enjoying all the peace and happiness that he so rightly deserves. I am with the Rodriguez family in both thought and prayer

I want to express my deepest & sincerest condolences to The Rodriguez family. I had the pleasure of being employed by Mr. Rodriguez "Fito" for 3 yrs. He was a great mentor and inspiration in my 3 years of working along side Fito. He showed me what the true meaning of "great customer service" was. We had some great times working together. This is something I will forever treasure and hold dear to my heart. May you Rest In Peace.
