I was very sorry to learn about the death of Professor Giesecke. I was privliged to be one of his VAPs for 18 months. I was honoured that he and his wife Roni visited us and he addressed our department. May he rest in peace.

I have the greatest memories of working with Buddy at UTSW. He was a fine man and an outstanding Anesthesiologist. Thank you for your years of fine service teaching at the medical school.
