Adolph “Tony” Gabriel Coppola, 90, died peacefully on Monday, July 21, 2025, after a long battle with Parkinson’s Disease. Adolph was born in Lodi, NJ to Alphonse and Rose Coppola on December 1, 1934. He lived in Kinnelon, NJ prior to moving to Point Pleasant Beach about 25 years ago. Adolph served in the Army National Guard for 12 years during the Korean War. He was an associate engineer at Kearfott Guidance and Navigation in Clifton and Wayne, NJ for over 40 years. He was a member of the Elks when he lived in North Jersey. He was a parishioner at St. Peter’s Church in Point Pleasant Beach. Adolph enjoyed family vacations, dancing and boating.


Adolph was predeceased by his parents Alphonse and Rose Coppola. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Lucina Coppola nee LiMuli; his daughter and son-in-law Arlene and David DeLaOsa of Wantage, NJ; his son and daughter-in-law Thomas and Cynthia Coppola of Brick, NJ; his 5 grandchildren Stephanie DeLaOsa (Joseph Corleto), Jennifer DeLaOsa (Angelo Amati), Thomas Coppola, Matthew Coppola and Louis DeLaOsa; and one great grandchild Lydia D. Corleto.


Viewing hours will be held on Friday, July 25th from 3:00-7:00 PM at Van Hise & Callagan Funeral Home, 812 Arnold Avenue, Point Pleasant Beach, NJ. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, July 26th at 10:00 AM at St. Peter’s Church, Forman Avenue, Point Pleasant Beach. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Brielle, NJ.
