Adolphus G. Bradshaw

I saw the picture of Mr. Bradshaw and it took me back DECADES to when I went to school with his son Gilliam Bradshaw. The resemblance is uncanny, event with the age difference. And, the resemblance doesn't end there. In reading the comments about Mr. Bradshaw from friends etc., I can again remember Gilliam and his easy-going, kind nature. I am so grateful that it was Uncle A.G. who was holding my father's hand when he died in 1993. Uncle A.G. sat with Daddy for days, just holding his hand. That was the kind of friend and relative A.G. Bradshaw was. He always wanted people in his life to know they were loved, and nothing was more important to him than his family.

To the Bradshaw family, May you find comfort in each other and in the memories of life with "Pa".

We have a photo album filled with pictures of our Christmas tree tradition: picking out our tree at Mr Bradshaw's in late October/ November then taking it home to decorate after Thanksgiving. I still remember my precious dog Belle trotting around the field, and last year Ellie and her cousins treking through the turnips and the trees then picking and eating pecans with Mrs Bradshaw.

The Coker family has only known Mr. Bradshaw as the Christmas tree man. We saw him twice a year- to pickthe tree and then cut it.
