Adrian Parker Call was a dear friend ever since we were freshmen at BYU in 1970. I'll never forget the many hours I was privileged to spend visiting with him and Marti while I cooked dinners for his apartment. I remember the time when he went home to Pocatello and rode his motorcycle back to Provo during a rain and hailstorm---he had to stop a few times on the way and was so cold and wet when he got back to school. Dr. Call delivered two of my babies and assisted in the third one. You could see the light of Christ in his eyes. I have a photo of him in the operating room holding my third baby and I will never forget his eyes. He treated me like family. He treated everyone like family. I was just thinking about him and wondering if he was still practicing and saw that he had passed. It does not surprise me, he was amazing and I am sure much needed on the other side. So sorry to find out about Adrian's passing recently! My sincere condolences to Marti and her family. Marti is an old friend who lived with us for awhile when she was a child. Her Christmas card was returned last year so if you know how I can contact her please let me know at [email protected].
