McClenny Funeral Service - Charlottesville Obituary

Adrian Maurice Cary passed away peacefully at the VCU Medical Center in Richmond Virginia on November 2, 2019 at the age of 38.


Adrian was born in Charlottesville, Virginia on April 18, 1981. He joined New Fork Baptist Church at the age of 12. He graduated from Fluvanna County High School in 1999, went on to attend Virginia Commonwealth University, and later earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer and Information Science from ECPI University. He worked as an Information Technology Specialist at Estes Express Lines.


Adrian was a fun loving, big hearted and adventurous person. He always went out of his way to help others and loved being with his family and friends. His hobbies included listening to music, playing basketball, attending sporting events and other social functions.


He leaves to cherish many warm memories two loving parents, Michael Cary, Sr. and Barbara Cary of Palmyra Virginia; two daughters, Alana and Amani Cary of Richmond Virginia; a brother, Michael Cary Jr. (Lynette), two nephews, Michael and Landon, and a niece, Mykayla of Durham, North Carolina; an aunt, Francine Randolph of Silver Spring, Maryland; and a fiancé, Katrina Jackson of Richmond, Virginia. He also leaves behind a host of loving cousins and devoted friends.


The funeral, interment, and repast will take place at New Fork Baptist Church on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at 1 p.m. with Marcus A. Lee, Senior Pastor officiating. The church is located at 16 New Fork Church Lane in Palmyra, Virginia.


The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the VCU Medical Center Cardiac Surgery Intensive Care Unit, the Duke University School of Nursing, and the McClenny Funeral Service.
