Dear Mrs. Duplantier:
I was deeply saddened when I heard the news of Judge Duplantier's passing. Knowing he is in a better place is comforting. I enjoyed very much the time I spent working with him on the Mandeville shopping center and learning about his career. I also enjoyed our last dinner (Judge, you, Dick, and Sally) at Macaroni Grill before my westward relocation to Texas.
I wish you the best. Take care.

Our condolences go out to Mr. Duplantier's family. My grandfather, Joseph Bourgeois of New Orleans, grew up knowing Mr. Duplantier and always spoke very highly of him.

Dear Sally:
Experiencing the death of a husband is so personal that very few of us can understand the grief involved. Perhaps it will help to ease your sadness if you that Judge Adrian Duplantier will be greatly missed by all of his friends and that we all share in your sadness.
Judge was one of the most charming and warmest men I have ever known, I will never forget him. My loves and prayers to you and your family.
