Not sure what to say?

Adrian Williams was a brilliant headmaster. He took over the post when I was already on the staff. He was inspirational, had a great sense of humour and got the best out of all his pupils and staff alike. I have great memories of his time as headmaster at CUS. I know he will be greatly missed.

I was at CUS when Mr Williams took over in 1983. He turned the school around and made it the best upper school in the town. He was also an inspirational teacher. I have never forgotten him. RIP

Mr Williams was the very best headteacher. He was kind, funny and understand and I have thought about him often since I left CUS in 2005. He knew every single pupil´s name, family members and circumstances. He was an inspiration, and I send out my deepest condolences to his family and friends. RIP, Sir. X

My heart-felt condolences to all members of his family. This great loss does not in any way erradicate his memory in the hearts and minds of those of us who benefitted from his caring concern during his time as Headteacher of County Upper School. l will remain full of gratitude for all he did for my two daughters and we as a family as long as I live.

Mr Williams was my headteacher while at County Upper from 1995-1997 - he was a great headteacher & a lovely man - my thoughts are with his family at this difficult time xxxx

The most fair happy and supportive head master. Adrian set a lot of wayward children on the right path. He is often in my thoughts. Condolences to his family, he will be missed by many.

Many condolences.... Mr Williams always knew my name (and all my sisters too) even though I didn't interact with him too much. Always had a smile on his face. Calm composure. Stead fast. An awesome example of stability, fairness and authenticity. I was gutted when he retired whilst I was there. He will never be forgotten.

Such a fantastic headteacher. A brilliant example . I was always amazed how he knew all of our names and took an interest in us as individuals . I bumped into him quite a few years back - and he still remembered me. I had the greatest respect for him . Deepest condolences to his family - he will sadly be missed .

Adrian Williams was the inspirational headteacher who believed in me before I did. Years later after I left school I bumped into him, we chatted and he asked if I would be prepared to join the board of the local hospice. He brought out the best in me, and gave me the confidence to believe in myself.
