Not sure what to say?

To the family -

I was saddened to learn of Agnes' death upon my return from Pennsylvania. I would have attended her services had I been here. Agnes and my mother, Addie Molson, were very good friends and members of Eta Gamma Omega Chapter of AKA. Agnes helped arrange AKA's participation in my mother's funeral service, in 2002, and anything else I needed done. She was a good friend to my mother and for this I'll always be grateful.

My sympathies to her family and friends.

Ms. Bailey will be missed. My prayers go out to her family.

I came up and went to school during the "Old Era." Ms. Bailey was definitely in charge of her classroom; she demanded respect and had order in her classroom. She had a passion for teaching and would look over her glasses and ask us "what do you think?" Ms. Bailey would magically appear on the school ground and took charge of all problems. As a student and adult, I appreciate all the nurturing that I received from Ms. Bailey. Ms....

My heart is heavy. I was informed of Sister Bailey's transition from Sister Linda West. I was stunned to have heard of the passing of this good and decent woman. I recall meeting Sister Bailey some years ago at the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority house in Oak Park. She was an affable and very proper professional woman. Her passion for education was immense. Our world, and my life is better for having met her.

Our prayers are for the family, sorority sisters, and friends of Sister...
