GARDNER (KIESEKAMP), Agnes – Of Flushing, age 74, died Thursday, October 19, 2017 at McLaren-Flint.



 



Cremation has taken place.



 



Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, October 26, 2017 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road,Pastor Leroy Cole officiating.



 



The family requests that Memorial Contributions be made to Leader Dog of Rochester, MI, or the Humane Society of Genesee County.



 



Visitation 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.



 



Agnes was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan on April 27, 1943, the daughter of Paul and Margaret (Schuta) Kiesekamp.



 



Agnes was a graduate of Flushing High School and spent most of her life in the Flushing area.



 



Agnes graduated from Hurley Hospital School of Nursing and was a Registered Nurse.



 



Agnes married Robert (Bob) F. Gardner on December 1, 1964 and they celebrated 52 years of marriage this past December.



 



Agnes was a member of the Flushing Historical Society, Buick Town Chapter of the BCA and the Flushing Area Senior Center.



 



Surviving family members are, husband, Bob of Flushing;



 



son, Kevin (wife Diana) of Davisburg;



daughter, Kathleen (husband Jon) Roberts of Grand Ledge and



son, Keith (wife Janice) of Flushing;



 



4 grandchildren, Scott and Katelyn Roberts, Andrew and Guiliana Gardner;



 



also surviving are sister, Gretel Lange of Denton, Texas.

I will so miss her and only wish she and I would have known each other longer and had more time to share a friendship.
