I worked at St. Paul for 8 years and feel honored to be considered one of Agnes' friends. My most cherished memories of her are the monthly 'talks' she had with staff for an entire year as she shared her life story. These talks were included in a required training session for staff with the intent of building empathy for those special people they provided care to every day. Agnes will be remembered as a lovely dignified woman who enjoyed life, and especially a good book!! At one point, she read 179 books in one year!!! A good story by Gilbert Morris always made Agnes happy!! She will be greatly missed. Happy reading in heaven Agnes!! Library lady Lynn
