Agnes Cecelia Cotter Keltner 99 of Sherwood, Arkansas passed away June 11, 2014. She was born April 27, 1915 in Hope, AR to parents Thomas and Anna Cotter.
She is preceded in death by her parents and husband Robert Keltner, one son Andrew Keltner and two brothers, Thomas and Bernie Cotter.
She is survived by one sister Mary Quattlebaum and brother, Andrew Cotter, children Betty Ann Baker, Robert Keltner, Mary-Jane Wyeth and Kathy Copas, 18 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren and 17 great-great grandchildren. We love her and miss her greatly.
She was a founding-member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in North Little Rock, AR. July 27, 1947 was the first meeting for ICCC. From her nursing home bed, a then 97 year old Agnes recalled the day as much as her memory allows, “It was hot and we met under a shade tree in Joan Taldo’s front yard, it was on the corner of Club road and 107. We did not have air-conditioning, I don’t remember much but I know it was hot. We were a group of about 70 Sylvan Hills residents both catholic and non catholic; we came together that day with Bishop Albert Fletcher.” As a result of this meeting Immaculate Conception Church was founded. Agnes dearly loved God, her family, friends and her Catholic faith.
A visitation will be held at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home located at 7724 Landers Rd N.L.R. AR Friday June 13, 2014 from 6-7 pm, with the Rosary starting at 7pm.

Nan, I'm sorry I wasn't there to hold your hand and kiss your cheek one last time. Mom said that she played your song for you. I sang it to you again in the car yesterday. Thank you for the memories of you riding my horse, wearing a sweater and long pants on an 85 degree Washington day and still being cold, my hand-written recipe for "Nanny Rolls", my Nanny pedestal cake plate and the pottery that you painted that has become even more precious to me overnight. You have always lived far away in miles, but will continue to live close to me in my heart. I love you.

I was so sorry to hear of Mrs Keltner's passing. I remember fun times living next door to her for 15-18 years while we were growing up. She was always so good to us as kids. I see she lived a long life with a great extended family. My heartfelt condolences to go to the family.

I remember sitting around the table with Mema, Nanny, and a priest. Nanny looked at the priest and with a very serious tone said, "Father, I've heard that worrying is a sin and I worry that I worry too much."
Guess what Nanny? No more worries.
Rest peacefully sweet lady.

Hello, I am Judy Davis. Linda and I lived next door when we were all growing up. I wish I had known your mom was alive. I would have gone to see her and thanked for the many kindnesses she showed us. She treated us just like we were one of you. Robert, do you remember how we played in the rafters in our carport? It. Is a wonder we were not killed. How lucky you were to have her for so long. My best to all of you.

To Betty; Mary-Jane; Kathy; Phyllis and the family: Your mother was truly a lovely woman and even at 99 was full of spunk and very enjoyable. She will be greatly mssed by the Rogers Family that were blessed to have known her and her great family and friends. She was a great friend to Dorothy, my mother-in-law, and there is a great void there. I know one thing, she loved potato salad and pickles, so anytime I made it, that is what she had for supper and sometimes lunch. Oh yes, she loved her candy and anything Phyllis would cook up and bring. Thanks for the great memories. May God provide you all the same peace and comfort he has provided for her today. Love, Sandra and Tommy
