Not sure what to say?

I worked at the Red Cross for many years, I was a secretary in the Service to Military Families and Veterans Dept. Agnes was our office manager. I had not heard of her passing until now, as I left work in 1986 and of course we lost touch. Aggie was a force of nature, one of the strongest people I've ever known. I am grieved to hear of her passing. She was a memorable lady and did a lot of good in the world. God bless!

I have many fond memories of your mom both at Red Cross and personally. Always enjoyed her warm smile. Enjoyed many lunches with our "Out to Lunch Bunch". She was a true friend to so many.

The tide recedes,
But leaves behind
Bright seashells on the sand.
The sun goes down,
But gentle warmth
Still lingers on the land.
The music stops,
And yet it echoes on
In sweet refrains.
For every joy that passes,
Something beautiful remains
Rest in peace,

I had the 15 year pleasure of working with and at times, working for Aggie. No one had a bigger heart or cared more for the well being of others....she has touched and forever impacted the lives of thousands of people through her dedication as a "Red Crosser" ...

Rosemary and I always enjoyed her stories of Syracuse and her family.
Warmly,
Jerry Cozewith

To the family of Aggie, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. My wife and me were members of the Disaster Action and worked quite closely with Aggie. In March of '93 we were called to chapter to get ready for a big snow storm. By evening we were snowed in and Aggie made sure we had supper and put us up in the Syracuse Hotel for the night. She was always there for the volunteers.
The last time I saw her was up at Iroquois Nursing Home.
I know she will be missed. May she rest in peace.

Agee As all of us at the Red Cross would call her was the warmest and sweetest person I have ever met. She treated all of us volunteers as if we were her own children. And we respected her like our own Mom. They don't make them like her anymore. She was one of a kind and the Red Cross never the same when she retired. Agee RIP Till we meet again one of your Red Cross sons Mike Kinahan

Dear Family: I was honored to have visited Agnes weekly for several years at her home in Eastwood, bringing her the Eucharist. I then was visiting her while she was a resident at the Iroquois. She was a delightful conversationalist and always interested in current affairs and was appreciative of the monthly drawings she would receive from the children at Blessed Sacrament School. Agnes, may you always be in the light and presence of Our Risen Savior. Peace.

I have very fond memories of Aunt Agnes, who was actually my father's aunt. She always impressed me as smart and witty, with a great sense of humor. I have not seen her much in the past two decades unfortunately. She made sure she knew when I was outprocesesing from Syracuse MEPS to Army Basic Training in the mid '80's, so she could personally deliver the Red Cross outbriefing to my group, and personally see me off. That was a great gesture that has not been forgotten. One time she was...
