I grew up as the oldest child in a loving household of younger siblings but I always looked forward to visiting the Miner's house. It was there that seemingly more "adult" conversations took place and I felt welcomed and valued. Mrs. Miner could always say something to me that made me feel special. I'm so very sad to lose such an interesting friend. How I always loved to visit Harvard Place - things were never dull at the Miner house! Our AAHS reunions will never be as great now, without your mom. I'm not surprised to hear of Mrs. Miner's last day; leave it to her to have a fascinating, almost dramatic, end of life! Denise, you know how much I loved both your mom and you. I'm so happy things went well for all of you the last few months of her life.
