Not sure what to say?

Today is June 7 and soon it will be three months since Jake died. I've had many expressions of support and many stories told to me about Jake and his adventures, especially at the track or the gaming tables. I also hear from friends who didn't share that part of his life, and they are equally helpful to me in getting used to this life without him.
I just want all of you to know that I'm okay and he has a lovely spot in the New Albany Memorial Cemetery and his stone is already up....

Our deepest sympathies for the loss of one of the kindest men I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. I will always remember his stories and infinite wisdom about horses, blackjack and the world in general.
His memory will always make me smile!

I wish to extend my deepest sympathies to Pat and her family. It was just in December that I met Pat and Jake while sharing their tour with the Battle of the Bulge veterans. I think back often and fondly on our engaging discussions and on Jake's stories from the past. I will miss him.

Pat, Ruth, Mary, and the rest of the Jacobson family, my thoughts and sympathy are with you during these difficult times. My memories of Jake are filled with discussions of horse racing, blackjack, and Jake's endless supply of interesting stories. I will miss him.

To Pat, Ruth, Mary, and the Jacobson family, I extend my deepest sympathy. I remember Jake's support of our time together in the theatre, and his refreshing perspectives and lively discussion. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Pat, Wanda & I extend our deepest sympathy to you and your family. We have lost a good friend and comrade. Jake & I served in the 50th Inf during World War II - we will miss him.

Hello-
I met Jake many years ago when I started in our field. As you may remember he worked at Memorial Sloan-Kettering in his early career, and we still remember him.
We are sorry to hear of his passing and want his family to know that he is remembered.

We here at UofL are saddened to hear of Jake's passing. As our first Radiation Safety Officer, he leaves behind a rich history of service to the University and his colleagues in the field of Health Physics and Radiation Safety. He will be missed.

Pat and family

I'm saddened of Jake's passing.I remember what a strong person he was. Whenever I saw him he had a smile and a story about a experience he had or a joke that made me laugh. My sincere sympathy
