In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

Amiee you will be missed. I knew you through baseball coaching my grandson James, you all called him Bob . Even though we moved out of the area, my work brought me in contact with you again. You always had a smile and wanted to know how Bob was. I will miss you.

My deepest sympathies to the Roberts family. I am keeping you all in my prayers.

Jacob, I just learned of your mom's death last night. I was shocked and saddened by your loss. It was my honor to have many little chats with your mom at STA. She had such hopes and aspirations for you and, at the same time, her love for you was unconditional. She wanted more for you and she worked so hard to provide it. I ran into her this summer and she told me how well you've been doing. She was so proud of you and loved you SO much. No, that's wrong. She IS so proud of you and LOVES...
