Not sure what to say?

My husband and I were neighbors of Aina's on Leicester Avenue in Duluth. We never got to know her, but when we attended the estate sale her relatives held after she moved to the nursing home, we picked up quite a bit in the way of railroad memorabilia that she had from her second husband, Roy Gelin.

My husband, Steve, a railroad historian, promised Aina's relatives that most of this memorabilia would be donated to the railroad museum at the old Duluth Union Depot. Which it has been. ...

Aina was the librarian at the Wallen Memorial Library at Bethany Lutheran Church for many years. I have many childhood memories of going to see Aina after sunday school to check out a book or just to say hi. She traveled with my dad and mother, Martha and Harry Kullgren, back to Sweden in 1969 My dad passed away earlier this year at 102 years of age. Although separted by many miles we always touched base with Aunt Aina around Christmas time each year.

She...
