I didn't know AJ. However I do remember as a teenager (about 15 years ago) helping my dad, Dave Woodring, cut down a huge oak tree in AJ's yard. I was introduced to AJ at that time and my time with him only lasted a few seconds. I do know that those that I care about care deeply about AJ. In talking with Dee over the past few weeks I know that she sacrificed a great deal of time and energy to make AJ's last few moments in this world that much better.
