My sincere condolences to Jabby´s entire family. I do have fond memories of Jabby in High School. He was an amazing basketball player and friend. He will be sorely missed !

My heart goes out to you Lata, Gene and Lucky and the whole Bains family. Jabby was such a fine man. I remember him coming over to the house on 27th Avenue. He pruned all the fruit trees in the back yard. We had so much fruit that year. It was an example of Jabby's magic touch. You have my sympathy. We haven't seen each other for a while but think of all of you. Terry Bowes

My sincere condolences to the Bains family for the passing of their beloved husband, father, and grandfather. Jabby was a dear friend during our days together at Franklin School and was always available to offer his invaluable advice on agricultural matters later in life. He was a devoted leader in our community and I'm so very sorry to read of his passing.

At Franklin Elementary School, Jabby, Alan, Dennis and I played games and sports before school and during nearly every recess from first through eighth grade. We went on to Sutter Union High School and Yuba College together. Even though our lives went separate ways after that, the bond formed during those fourteen years still remains. Jabby will be remembered with fondness always. The world is less bright without his smile and kind heart.
