Not sure what to say?

My Dear friend Akabe,
I will never forget the woman that has been such an inspiration in my life. I always enjoyed our talks, and all the laughs we shared together. Your friendship has meant more to me than you will every know. I hope you are having Hummus, Tabouli, and Cocktails in Heaven with Mario and Claire!! I am sure they were there to greet you at Heaven's Gate, along with all the many of friends and family you were surrounded by in your life You have given me so very many...

I met Akabe in the 1960's when I was just a child - she worked with my Aunt Ruthie at Mass Mutual. I have never met such an endearing, loving person. We kept in touch fairly regularly until my aunt passed. We still have a family joke that began with Akie. My mom, Marion Fiorentino (also 94 years old), and I, Dondi Fiorentino, would like to extend our deepest sympathy to all of Akie's family.

Kathy and I would like to extend our profound sadness of the passing of Akabe. She was a great woman, a friend to all, and more than that, a warm and compassionate human being who was always nice to my family. She will be deeply missed.
