Al was a student of mine for Interpersonal Communication a couple semesters ago. I am shocked, heartbroken, and devastated to hear of their passing. Al is not a student you forget. What a beautiful soul who truly had a heart for helping people. Al was smart and SO wise. I always knew if they raised their hand, it was going to be good. I'm honored to have known Al. My deepest deepest condolences to everyone who is hurting.
