Not sure what to say?

A true gentleman and good story teller. I looked forward to listening to Duke talk at the mashed potato club dinners I attended with my grandmother back in the late 80s and early nineties. An incredible life and a beautiful spirit. I just want his family to know he is not forgotten by so many of us lucky enough to have met and gotten to know him however briefly so many years ago. My sincere condolences on your loss. Carie

Major A. L. [DUKE], Fullerton, one of a special breed of men. Few could endure what Duke did and come out a a genuinely happy ,pleasant gentleman.

My deepest sympathy to all of the Fullertons as they have lost a most admired and beloved gentleman. I often remember him sitting and enjoying some libation before the evening meal and his conversation regarding "DC". He was always kind and supportive and I was honored to have known him. The Fullerton men have been true heroes and their duty and service has made me proud to be an AMERICAN.

My deepest sympathy to the Fullerton family. The Battling Bastards of Bataan have lost another soldier and a good friend. "Duke" was a gentleman in every respect and he will be greatly missed at the dining table.

Duke was the model for me of what an Officer and a Gentleman should be. Our nation has lost a genuine hero.
