Dad, it's been 10 years this weekend. We sure miss you. I wish you could have seen your grandkids grow up more, you'd be so proud of them. Gwen is almost a R.N., Alexa will be graduating college, and JC will be graduating HS in June. Mom sure misses you too, I know she's lonely without you. I sure wish they had visiting hours in heaven, I'd have a beer with you and take you for a ride in my RZR. Love, Doug

Just thinking of words to describe Al..... (Not in any order) husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, reliable, always ready to help, true friend for almost 60 years, great sense of humor (sometimes we laughed so hard that we cried!), fun loving, truthful, mechanical, problem solver, appreciated good food, honest, patriotic, and many more! God bless you, Al! We will watch over Mary......

Aunt Mary and Doug: Debbie told me about this today. Our prayers are with you now. Will light a candle at Mass on Sunday. Although young, I remember that it seemed like Uncle Al could fix or make things by magic. Wish I had been able to visit more, but 20112 visit to Jack & Penny was wonderful to see all of you! I saw his obituary in the newspaper, & was wondering if he had a sister, also from St. Paul, named Pat Marko, whom I'd met in my teens in St. Paul? Pat was living with her parents then, in a house on N. Snelling Ave. We had a mutual friend named Eileen. Thanks. Fran
