Al Parker will always be in my thoughts and heart. His devotion to my sister, my mother , and nieces will never be forgotten.
Al was the reasonable and philosophical voice that could always be counted on when discussing any topic. I was most touched by him when near the end of his life he sent me a text message. Stating in his typical philosophical way how we should not mourn for his eventual passing. How instead he was honored to have experienced his life with all of us. ...

My beloved Sister and her more than rational, always reasonable and philosophical husband Al will remain bonded and in love forever.
I remember how Al would always be the voice of reason, he would challenge you to think clearly about any position you would have on any subject.
Al was Al, even in his last days. He sent a text message with a wonderful resolve to the end of his life. Philosophical to the end true to who he was and how he will be remembered.

Al was an immediate friend with his down to earth ways. We knew him only briefly, missing the opportunity to spend more time with he and his lovely wife. His generously loving spirit remains with us when we think of him. There was always inclusiveness with Al. We remember the day when he discovered his illness and he was immediately accepting of the unacceptable. Besides physical gifts provided us before his move, the personal gift experience was honest and rare -the smile on his face...
