Born in Norfolk, VA in 1941 to Henry and Marjorie Roseman, Al attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he completed both his undergraduate degree (BS) as well as a degree in Dentistry (DDS). Of all of Al?s accomplishments, his family, friends, profession and aviation were most important to him. He was a true and loyal friend to many and enjoyed relationships with people from all walks of life. ?Pappy? was adored by his grandchildren who loved his boat rides and special way of feeding the fish. His indomitable strength and spirit prevailed throughout his life. He just filled the room whenever he walked in.

Not sure what to say?

Patricia and family, I was truly shocked and sadden when Roddy Jones telephoned me about Al`S illiness. Roddy introduced me to Al over dinner in Raleigh. When I contacted Roddy about going Peacock Bass fishing in Brazil and asked if he wished to invite someone, he replied "yes, and I am sure Al will go". Sure you heard many stories about the trip from Al, and probably exaggerated in his favor. I, we, really enjoyed his company, wit and tales. Know he shall be missed by you, his family and the...

He was a dear friend and colleague..he will be truly missed

Thoughts and prayers with Patricia, Mark and Mike. Many fond memories.

Dear Patricia, Mark, and Mike,
Al was very special to me and to so many others, both personally and professionally. My heart goes out to each of you. Know that I am sending thoughts and prayers, all the way from Durham.
Love to all, Nancy Marks

Sorry to hear of Al's death. I have many pleasant memories over the years...Please know the family is in my thoughts and prayers during these difficult times.

My prayers are with the Roseman family as they are dealing with this loss. Dr. Roseman was a wonderful man and I am honoured to have known him.

Al was not just a respected professional, but a true friend as well. He really enjoyed his time around for the Board Exam in Puerto Rico. We will remember him always as one of the pillars of the CITA family...
Dr. & Mrs. Ivan Torres and family (Puerto Rico)

To Helene and family, I am sorry to hear of Al's passing.. I remember when you came to Jacksonville from Norfolk and when Al and you were in high school with me.. God Bless all of you. Ted Azam, Jacksonville, NC

As so many others, I was shocked and saddened to learn about Al's sudden passing, and I send my sincere condolences to his family. Although I only knew him as an Aircrew member in the Coast Guard Auxiliary and only for a relatively short period of time at that, I had very much come to appreciate his kindness and to admire him for his numerous accomplishments in life.
