A.L. Tipton Sr., age 86, of Fouke, Arkansas died November 6, 2010, in a local nursing home.
Mr. Tipton was born January 1, 1924, in Scottsboro, Alabama. He was a Baptist and a Veteran of the U.S. Navy having service in WWII.
He is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law Junior and Kim Tipton of Texarkana, Arkansas and Craig and Patsy Tipton of Fouke, Arkansas; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
Graveside services will be 10 A.M. Tuesday at Fouke Cemetery with Rev. Kevin Holt and Rev. Frank McFerrin officiating. Arrangements are with Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas.
Visitation will be from 6 to 7:30 Monday at Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas.
