Not sure what to say?

Since hearing about Al’s passing I can’t get it out of my mind. I have known Al for over 25 years. I have always considered him my best friend. They say that if you can count on one hand your best friends than you are a rich man. I am a rich man for having Al in my life. He helped me through many hard times and we had lots of laughs and tears through the years. I remember when Al met Sandy; he was so in love with her. They set the standard on how two people can be such a perfect match. Al’s...

Bob and I had come to know Al and Sandi very well in the recent years. We shared many similarities, many laughs, and many wines. Though we feel Al was taken from us far too soon we are grateful for the time we had in his company. Our lives were enriched by his presence and our retiree breakfasts will never be the same.

Wow I was shocked and saddened when I heard about Al's abrupt passing. I'm another one of Albie's associates on the golf course and not too long ago I had been listening to Al talking about retirement and how he and his wife meet up with friends for breakfast at McDonalds. His eyes smiled when he talked about enjoying this get together of friends and also about how much he was enjoying retirement. Albie is gone way too soon and he will be missed on so many levels! My heart and condolences...

Urbans,

Know that Al was a wonderful person and gave to all who requested his help. Gentle soul he was here on earth and now with our Heavenly Father. He is smiling down on all of us who knew him and love him. He is now playing on the largest golf course in Heaven and lovivg it. May God Bless all of us who remain to greive for Al but place in our hearts the comfort of knowing Al is with Him. That someday we will all be together again.

I'm just devastated to hear of Al's passing. I didn't know him well, but he was a wonderful husband to my friend, Sandy, and I know he was loved by his step children too. The love he brought into their lives was a precious gift. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I worked for Al for over 10 years in the Motor Pool at New Cumberland.
Al was the heartbeat of the Motor Pool organization. He was one of the best there is.

Al was a very kind, compassionate person who cared about everyone. I was one of the fortunate who got to spend time with Al and got to know him. He was a great mentor and very good friend to me.

He will be missed dearly by all.

Al was the first person I worked for at New Cumberland Army Depot.

Al will be missed.

My thought and prayer go out to the Urban family.

Al was a great guy.

From Viet Nam till this is a long time
and there no words I can think of to
justly discribe how I feel of Als passing.Sandy,God bless you and help you through this time.

I worked with Alvin many years here at New Cumberland. I would call him Alvin, he in turn would call me Thomas. He was a great guy. There isn't much Alvin didnt know when it came to DDSP operations. What a yankee & Cowboy fan! Please accept my condolences in his passing as he will be greatly missed.
