I just learned of Alain's passing and wanted to express my heartfelt condolences to you. We just had lunch together at Le Colonial in NY! I always had a great fondness for Alain since we shared so many interests. He was a true aristocrat and I am sure you are hearing from scores of people, sharing the same sentiments.
