Not sure what to say?

I've only just learned of Kent's passing today...although it's been about 4-1/2 years, it feels like it just happened to me...So, I'm a late-mourner... Sending my heartfelt condolences to Linda & their boys... He was so much more than just an employer, & I'm grateful to have known him...R.I.P., Kent! I'll always remember you...

Nelson County lost one of its finest citizens. Mr Akers was an awesome individual. I'm so sorry for his family and those that knew him he will be so missed

Kent was my colleague, my attorney and my friend. It was an honor and a privilege to have known him. He was kind, caring and compassionate. I will always remember his joie de vivre, his smile, and his wonderful sense of humor, which often found its way into his pleadings. When Kent spoke of his lovely wife and sons, it was always with much love and pride. God's newest angel will never be forgotten...he will live on forever in the hearts of his family and friends.

I served in the Ky National guard with Col Akers. He was always fair, fun to be around and a dedicated soldier. Sorry to hear of his passing.

One of the nicest human beings ever. He was dedicated and hard working. A friend to everyone. He will be sorely missed! God Bless You Mr. Akers! May you be resting in peace.

To the akers family I am so sorry to hear of Mr. Akers' sudden death. Sincerely Pam Evans
