I knew Craig many years ago as a young man just out of the Air Force. He was a good Christian man with a beautiful smile and a warm, kind heart. Even though we have not been in contact for many years, I still considered him a friend. I am greatly saddened to learn of his passing but I know I will see him again one day. I knew Craig a relatively short time, years that flew by. It was a friendship forged over sharing the same monotonous work - reading thousands of essays by grade schoolers - and our lousy golf games. Craig always brought a keen wit and great sense of humor.
