Alan Reed Alsup, 60, a resident since 1950 of St. Petersburg, Florida, an assistant city manager in Charleston, West Virginia, died at his home on Wednesday, November 22, 2000. Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, November 29, 2000, 3-8 p.m., at Creal Funeral Home Seventh Avenue Chapel, 1940 7th Avenue South, St. Petersburg. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, 6-7 p.m., at the funeral home. Services are scheduled for Thursday, November 30, 11 a.m., at Bethel Community Baptist Church, officiated by the Rev. Dr. Manuel Sykes, pastor, and the Rev. Don F. Browne, pastor of Traveler's Rest Misssionary Baptist Church. Interment will be at Royal Palm Cemetery North. Cortege will form at 565 26th Avenue South East. Arrangements entrusted to Creal Funeral Home Seventh Avenue Chapel, St. Petersburg, Florida.
