To The Ames Family: We worked with Al for many, many years and we have now lost a good friend. We will miss his stories that he loved to tell and we loved to hear. We are honored to have known and had been taught by this terrific guy. Our condolences to the family.

Kennedy and I want you to know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. Alan always made us feel welcome, and we enjoyed the time we spent with him. I still remember him teaching me to shoot for the first time when I was a young man. He will be missed.

Loretta, I enjoyed working with Cpl. Al Ames. He was a great guy and taught me a lot about shooting and reloading. He left us way to soon.

I worked with Al over 25yrs, you couldn't ask for any better person to work with, I'm sorry to hear of his passing, we had a lot of good times, lot of great memory's, he will be missed.
