Not sure what to say?

I am profoundly saddened to learn of the death of my dear classmate, my dear friend, Alan. I just learned of his passing last week from his brother Miles. Alan and I were dear, close friend, having met Alan in September, 1964, attending Franklin High School in Portland, Oregon, the class of 1969. We worked together at the Portland Hilton Hotel in 1967-1968. I always enjoyed Alan's presence, his rapid fire wit, and his down to earth manner. Always, with great respect, Dean Browning Webb, Esq.,...

Alan was such a sweet and quiet cousin. We loved him, and are so sorry to hear of his passing, and so happy that he was a Christian.

So sorry to hear the news, I got to work with Andy for 6 years at Westover, and he was the epitome of our Air Force Core Values, Service before Self, and Excellence in all we do. His depth of knowledge and care for customers was second to none. He will truly be missed.

Linda, Tiffany and Jeremy....My prayers and thoughts are with you. Andy surely was one of a kind! he touched all of our hearts/lives in many ways. I will miss his excitement whenever he would ask me how my boys were doing and really cared about their accomplishments! Rest in Peace until we meet again!

We met Andy on our arrival to Westover in 2010. We saw him many times at MPF throughout the years and he was always friendly and went out of his way to help us. Seeing him around base we would often chat and he was a great person. We will truly miss him and our thoughts are with his entire family.

Andy was always there for his coworkers and customers. He will be missed. My deepest condolences to you, Linda and the family

To Linda, Jeremy and Tiffany, and family members,
First, I want to offer my prayers, condolences, and thoughts regarding the passing Alan. I had my first ID Card service with him in Sept. 2004 when I turned age 60 and was changing my "reserve Pink ID card" for the all important "full retired Blue one". Alan took care of me 100% like I'm sure he did all others at Westover ARB on a daily basis. He was very thorough and made sure all of the "full retired" elements were taken care...

Andy - from navigator school at Mather AFB in 1986 to FSS at Westover today, it was a true honor and privilege to serve with you in the Air Force. Your humor, professionalism, ability to remain calm and positive under stress, and your morning editorials on the political races are things I will remember forever. Off you go, into the wild blue yonder my friend. I wish you clear sky and a brisk tailwind.

I will miss my friend Alan (Andy) Anderson. I am saddened to hear this news. I have enjoy working with Andy and training him as my replacement in the 439TH SFS Pass & Registration Office. He Always gave a 100% plus in helping others. Linda my condolences to you and your family circle.
