I played football at midwood high school for Coach Arbuse. He was, above all, loyal to his family and a man that truely loved us. He was a mentor and leader that guided our team despite having a terrible series of losses. He built our character. I played for Coach in 77-78, Tough, compassionate mentor. I always tried to get back to Midwood when I visited Brooklyn just to see him. Sorry to hear of his passing. He helped me to get in to college and beyond. Could not have done it without him. Gone but not forgotten...

I worked for Mr. Arbuse in the Physical Education Dept at Midwood High School in the early 90's. He was a great mentor and teacher. Best coach I ever met and was loved by all at Midwood. Rest in Peace Mr. Arbuse.
