Not sure what to say?

Diane, I am so very sorry to hear the loss of Al. You and your family have been in my thoughts and prayers. I know that those long, hot, cold baseball games were a little better sharing it with you guys! -Janet Shobe

Diane and family I am sorry for your loss. I have been out of town for the holidays so just got your mom's note in her Christmas card. You all are in my thoughts and prayers. I have been where you are, I lost my husband Jack almost a year ago. It still seems surreal. Let me know if you need anything, even just a shoulder to cry on. Love and blessings to you all, Debbie Stallings (Uransky)

Diane you may or may not know that Peggy is in nursing care /Alzheimer´s I showed her Alan´s obit picture, She was very sad. On both our parts I want to share our sympathy in the passing of a wonderful person. We are thinking about you. John

R.J., when I was football team manager my sophomore year I think your dad was head of the boosters and was there for some or all of the team meals. He was always nice to me. When I worked at Kroger and my last employer or I saw him in public he was still nice as can be! I would always ask him how you and D.G. were doing. I'll always remember your dad as being a great person who would always say hi and never acted like he was too busy or too important to speak. Sorry for your loss.

So sorry for your loss. Sending prayers and healing thoughts to you all.

My deepest condolences! Prayers for you all.

I´ll always remember Al´s big friendly smile and kind words that greeted all the neighborhood kids at the bus stop each morning. We´d all watch as him and DG would throw a football back and forth most mornings and it helped the time pass by. My strongest condolences to the Archers.

When Al was a student at UVA he worked for me at Anderson Bros. Bookstore. He was a wonderful, well loved member of "the floor clerks" gang! To know him was to love him.
