I am so overwhelmed with respect for Alan Arkin. What a role model he is to the world-- not just as an actor, but as a human being. I looked to him as a creative role model as a kid and, while I never met him, I did write to him when I was 14 and got a wonderful response, which I still have.

I liked your role in the movie, "The Russians are coming, The Russians are coming!" That movie, we enjoyed and it brought laughter to our household and we needed that back then in the late 1960s and early 1970s. What folks don´t realize is that film (and all films eventually) are time capsules, and old films in the movie show the cars on the road at that time and showing USAF jets like the beautiful body style of USAF voodoo jets that are no longer in service are in the film, and also the...
