I first encountered Al when our teams played each other. He at Arcadia and I at Hopewell Loudon. Later we would see each other as our careers unfolded over the years. I considered Al to be an astute coach, professional person and a gentleman. I´m sure he will be missed by all who knew and associated with him. My sympathy goes out to his family.

Coach Baker was my basketball coach at Arcadia when we won the BVC championship in 1978. He gave me a life-long love of basketball. My sympathies go out to his family.
