Not sure what to say?

I was hunting for an attorney to help a dear friend when I stumbled upon Alan's obituary. I have known the Barrs for many years. Mother and Paulie were Cub Scout leaders together. Coach Barr taught my brother, Timothy, to swim. Alan came from a wonderful, warm family. Much love to his family Mrs. Joan C. (Mulcahy) Thompson of Garland, Texas

alan was a good friend, having met him in law school. he clerked and worked for me, always doing his best. regrettably, we did not see each other much since 2000, but spoke often at the courthouse. I love you, Alan.

Alan was a good friend
and colleague. I met him in law school. he clerked and worked for me and always did his best. Regrettably, we did not see each other much since 2000, but spoke often at the courthouse. We never failed to help each other and to laugh. I loved him and will miss him.

I lived in the apartment under Twink and Alan in Nashville many, many years ago and have fond memories. They moved before they had the children, and I lost touch somewhere in changing addresses in my many moves. Looking for old friends, I came across Alan's obituary. I am sorry to hear that he has passed. I have happy thoughts of him and Twink who were instrumental in getting me on to a better stage in my life.

I'll never, ever forget you Alan. You meant so much to me in the little time we knew each other and I wish I had made more time to hang out with you. I love you.

I just heard today of Alan's passing. Alan represented myself and other family members around 15 to 20 years ago, and I have never forgot him, he took care of two cases for me without charge and was one of the nicest people I have ever met, I am deeply saddened for your loss and to loose such a caring and understanding attorney and friend.

To Twink and famiy: I worked with Alan during our "Courthouse" years. He always talked lovingly and fondly about you and Sarah and Will. I could always see the light in his eyes each time. May that love be your comfort now and eternally.

Twink and Family.... Sarah your brother and your Uncle and others in your Family
