Not sure what to say?

I had the great pleasure of working for Barz in Studio B the summer of 1978. He had converted the little house in The Larchmont District. This was a great time with Barz and Pat McCormick, Terry, Bob Chambers and Fred Jones. Barz was so incredibly talented and as big a star as he was, he was always kind to me. I was only there a short time as studio engineers weren't paid much but he fulfilled my dream of working in Hollywood.

Alan Barzman, from the LP "From Studio B".

I first learned about Alan through his performance as the voice of Herb, on the children's science educational TV show "Beakman's World". Sadly I never got to meet him, but I did try to track down all the other works that he did, and projects he was part of. From the records he appeared on, to the to books that he wrote, I tried to learn about him, and update the discogs, and library entries about him. Whether he was a silly interviewer in his "From Studio B" sessions, as the Energizer Bunny...

While I never got to meet Alan, I got the honor and privilege of getting to know an extremely talented and gifted man and all his great stories via emails and messages. It was a pleasure to get to know him and he will dearly be missed.

Alan was a great friend who provided so many rich memories . We worked together, played together and laughed together for decades. I had lost track of this beautiful guy for the last several years and was so sad to hear of his passing, Our work together is memorialized on tape and I'll be listening to his brilliance now and forever.

So sorry to hear of Alan's passing, my sincere condolences to the families. I guess those batteries don't last forever! Rest in peace old creative friend.

B not only stands for Barz.. It stands for Brilliant which is who he was. A priviledge to have met him personally through my father and in business through advertising. Rest in peace Barz, your work lives on.
