Not sure what to say?

To Alan's family - the SHS Class of 1978 just had our 30th class reunion on Saturday, August 2nd, and was incredibly saddened to learn of Alan's passing from our fellow classmate, Carl Berman. I knew Alan since our school days at Broadway School and Southside High, and there certainly was a sadness at the reunion in knowing we were missing Alan from our class. God Bless him, and and his family, friends, and coworkers who are mourning his loss....I will remember him and keep him in my prayers...

Maureen,

I am still thinking of you and the girls and the adjustments you must be going through along with the continued grief. Let yourself "feel the feelings" is the best advice I was given and call on your friends to help you through. I will continue to pray for you and the girls. I would be more than happy to help you in any way I can, even if just to lend an ear.

Alan was an excellent nurse during the time I worked with him at Founder's Pavilion. He challenged other health care professionals to give their best to the patients and to each other. He will missed! My deepest sympathies to you and yours!

Fondly, Elizabeth Nalbach

Maureen and girls

May your memories and love you hold in your hearts for your loved one who is now with God continue to give you warmth and joy. Lean on God and his loving arms which will hold you close and give you strength during this time. Someday you will see him again in heaven, just think of what a wonderful day that will be when our loved ones we will see...keep that thought always in your hearts as well. You're in my thoughts and prayers....

We are truly sorry for your loss. We hope that your memories will hold the love you feel in your hearts always and that your faith in God will guide you during this time of sorrow. Our love, prayers and sympathy go out to you and your family.

Mitzi and Family,
I grew up with all of you, I remember all the fun times as your kids and my brothers and sisters were always together. I think of you all often. Alan will be in our memories forever. He was one good looking teen.

Maureen, Emily, Claire and the Blaney Family,
When my mom passed away, a friend wrote a letter to us that included the following verses. I hope that they will bring some comfort to you, as they have always brought comfort to me.
"Those we love are with the Lord,
and the Lord has promised to be
with us.
If they are Him, and He is with us,
then they cannot be far away"
Alan, Heaven is now a better place because of your presence. May God keep you safe...
