Not sure what to say?

As stated, "The world´s absolute best Daddy."

As a former VU student, I often think of the professors who inspired me to achieve my dreams by learning to think more critically about the world we live in. No one is more to thank than Alan Bloom. His passion and skill for teaching was one of the most amazing things I have ever experienced. It wasn´t until recently that I came across this incredibly sad news. My deepest condolences to you and your family. Rest in Power.

I was fortunate enough to take a class of Professor Bloom's at VU. I, often, refer back to the things I learned from him. It was a wonderful experience. He was truly a great man. My deepest sympathies to his family and friends.

I am deeply saddened to read of your family's loss. May special memories of Alan and the love and support of family and friends help to heal the heartache of your grief.

My deepest condolences to the Bloom Family.
I had the pleasure of knowing Alan from Metuchen High School and will always remember his smile and kindness to all of his classmates. After reading the praise from his students and the comments about his devotion to his family a huge
smile came on my face...that sounds exactly like Alan!
Rest in Peace.

Alan was such a nice classmate at MHS. My heartfelt sympathy to his friends and family. God bless!

My condolences to his family, attended Metuchen High School with Alan. Rest in Paradise.

Our deepest sympathies and love to Colleen and your entire family. We have so many happy memories of Alan's bright eyed loving persona through our days in grad school in N Carolina. I just remember him being able to make a room come alive, a nd watching how happy he made Colleen. I am shocked and sad that he has left so quickly, but priveleged to have crossed his path. Love and Peace. Sharon and Renato

We met Alan through are children the Westendorps. We spoke with Alan while children ran around us and through us. Alan, never skipped a word. The world has lost a lover, a caretaker of man, how VERY sad. The world could use a few more Alans. We are grateful for the few times we spent time with him.
