I always enjoyed Alan's wonderful sense of humor, his easy-going nature, and his love of life. He will be very much missed by me and Debbie. My condolences to all of you on your loss.

My sister Randy just called me and gave me the very sad news. I loved Alan and considered him family! He and my Dad were best friends. I can't tell you how many Syracuse Orange games, Syracuse Chiefs games, and Syracuse Blazers games we went to together as I was growing up. Always after game eats and laughter. To the Brickman family sorry for your loss i went to school with Michael and knew your dad well he will be missed. He frequented my deli in Dewitt with My brother and father that was Pickles Kosher Deli inc. Your father would bring the Deli to life when he would come in. Again my condolences to the whole family.

Ping pong lessons in the basement, Sunday morning bagels, bat boy for summer league baseball, sleep overs waking up to jogging in the house and many many more fond memories. You're truly one of a kind Mr. Brickman. I'll miss you.

So sorry to have heard the news upon returning from a trip out of town. Thank you for being such a good friend. We had a lot of great lunches together. We'll miss you.
