Not sure what to say?

I was so sorry to hear of Alan's passing. I took trumpet lessons from him over 15 years ago and always remember how upbeat and positive he was about everything, even though I never practiced as much as I should have! I was not always a very good student! I also remember him talking about painting and how that was one of his passions. I haven't seen him in 15 years but he is one of those people who I will always remember. Thanks Alan.

I am so happy I was able to meet Alan at Melissa and Shari's wedding. It was evident the joy he had for them. What a wonderful family!! My love and support are with the family.

Alan played trumpet at major liturgical celebrations at St. Francis Xavier Church for many years. He was always willing to help in the selection and playing of beautiful brass quartet pieces that rang throughout the church inspiring the congregation. His spirit and kindness will surely be missed.

I know Alan through his daughter Melissa. They way she talked about him and her love for him I know Alan was a wonderful person and will be missed by his family and friends.

We are sending our deepest sympathy~ I know it has been a long haul for the entire family~ Know that he is at peace now and will continue to live on in your hearts! We are glad we had the opportunity to finally meet him at your wedding! Please extend our condolences to your family! Love, Susan, Tom, Hannah & Tyler Kennedy

We will be missing Alan at the art show this weekend.

Alan will be missed. He was a wonderful friend and a genuinely nice person. There was an announcement at the Phoenix Symphony rehearsal - it is so unexpected. Many of us shared our memories of Alan with one another - good musician, well-liked, a fun and thoughtful person. My heartfelt sympathy to his family.
