Love Him. He always made me and my kids feel welcome and part of the family right from the start. I remember Christmas 2008 he insisted the kids and I come to family dinner, even though I had only known his son Michael a little over a month and Michael would not be there because he was offshore working that Christmas. We Honor Alan everyday with his California State record Calico Bass 12lbs 12oz on display in our shop, we get asked all the time who caught that bass and where. ALAN B. CHAPMAN Oceanside Barn Kelp in the sixty;s, he is my brother in-law. We will miss most Alan’s quick wit, always joking, clichés and oh that chuckle and laugh. Alan you will be missed. anne and i were always happy to spend time with al and nancy we will miss his fry ups and are so glad we spent our vacation in august there. gonna miss my fishing buddy.

Al was more of a brother to me than a brother-in-law. I hadn't seen him for a long time but I will never forget him.
