Alan,
You will truly be missed. You were a great friend to my family for years.

Alan,
My dear friend, our friendship is of many decades. In 1967, I came into your shop for flowers and came out with a job, "Help build a hospital."
Your "Impossible Dream" is now a reality. I will truly miss you.
