Not sure what to say?

Great guy with a big heart.

Dear Polly and Family, Al was such a loving and strong support to me in my social work school years and long after. I felt that he always cared about me and about where I was going in my life. His memory is truly a blessing for me!

In 1967 I was seeking a church that was in keeping with my views on peace. I began attending Ann Arbor Friends meeting by myself, although I was only 15 at the time. Al and Polly Connor took me under their wings and welcomed me, often taking me back to their house for meals and fellowship after Quaker meeting. I will never forget the kindness of Al Connor. My deep condolences to all his family

He was a truly and real friend to me as the best and the oldest of brothers in law and I cherished his and Polly's ideals. Instead of crying I feel joy for his everlasting soul. Love and peace to the Connor family and the serenity we all need when someone we love departs from us.

Jim Koopman and Helen Fox share good memories of Al and and his devotion to social justice. We didn't know he was a founder of Quaker Earthcare Witness! We're working on that here in Florida.

Too many memories but the overall is Al and the entire Connor family are an integral part of my childhood. I loved Al. He was always there with a hearty hug and warm welcome. It´s hard to imagine a world without him. Sending deepest condolences and much love to all. What a great guy

Dear Polly and Family, Reflecting on our visit in July 2021 brings back such sweet memories. We had just gotten married in December 2020, and coming to Ann Arbor to introduce ourselves as a newlywed couple felt incredibly special. Our time with Polly and Al was truly unforgettable. Their generous hospitality and the stories they shared about their long-lasting marriage left an impactful impression on us. We admire the beautiful legacy they´ve built together and the love they´ve nurtured...
